Hi there! My name is Denise and I'm a first-generation student pursuing my A.S. in Computer Science at Cypress College. My interests focus on learning more about the intersection of ML/AI and education. When I am not on my laptop, you can find me exploring new cafes in SoCal!

Research
During my internships and part-time job, I concentrated on honing my critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address various business objectives. I actively seek opportunities to apply my computer science knowledge, whether through personal projects or additional internships.
Student
I am currently studying C++ Data Structures and Algorithms at my local community college. In addition, I have self-taught myself HTML/CSS and Javascript.
Activities
In high school, I served as a coding instructor, teaching children of all ages the fundamentals of coding. I remain proactive on my college campuses, actively participating in the Cypress STEM2 and Fullerton STEM SLC programs.
